Asthma Foundation NSW strongly condemns Parramatta Council's
decision on 26 February to overturn a ban on smoking in outdoor
dining areas.
"We are extremely disappointed that the Council has ignored
strong community support for the ban", said Michele Goldman, Asthma
Foundation NSW CEO.
The Council's backflip is even more bewildering as the NSW State
Government will be introducing the same ban in 2015 that the
Council originally had in place.
